Nanocarriers to deliver short RNAs to the kidney
At USC, we offer capabilities to
- develop and optimize methods for short RNA (siRNAs and miRNAs) delivery
- target specific kidney cells using peptide ligands
One of the major nanocarriers that we can leverage are peptide amphiphile micelles that have targeting ability to the kidneys. The USC Nano Core will offer peptide and RNA incorporation into nanocarriers and its nanoparticle physicochemical characterization, validation of targeting, and efficacy of RNA delivery in vitro for a variety of kidney cells and structures.
